Fifty-two ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 3.3 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 27 vessels carrying around 1.8 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 25 ships carrying about 1.5 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
