Robin Gibb's agent declined comment on reports the former Bee Gees singer was on the brink of death in London. Sources told The Daily Telegraph Gibb, 62, could succumb to cancer in a matter of days; however that grim forecast was not publicly confirmed by the singer's representative. Gibb was discovered to have cancer in his colon and liver when he underwent bowel surgery 18 months ago. The cancer was recently reported to be in remission, but The Daily Telegraph said a secondary tumor reportedly was found. Sources told the newspaper Gibb's wife, children and brother and fellow Bee Gee, Barry, were keeping a vigil at the hospital.
