Charles Jenkins and the sisters duo Mary Mary each won five awards at the Stellar Gospel Awards in Nashville. Erica and Tina Campbell took home the Group/Duo of the Year, Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Year, Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year, and Special Event CD of the Year awards Saturday night during the 28th annual event at the Grand Ole Opry House, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported. Jenkins won for Best Song, Best CD, Best Choir, Best Traditional Choir and Best Recorded Music Packaging. Marvin Sapp was another big winner, accepting four awards, including Artist of the Year. New Artist of the year went to LeAndria Johnson.
