Hundreds of people gathered Sunday outside Solliden Palace to celebrate the 36th birthday of Swedish Princess Victoria, Swedish news agency TT reported. The princess celebrated her birthday by dressing up in traditional folk dress and greeting well-wishers, the news agency reported. A tribute concert to the royal was also planned, featuring musicians Darin, Robin Stjernberg, Emmelie de Forest and Louise Hoffsten. The festivities were part of an annual tradition in which the royal family vacations at Solliden Palace for Victoria's birthday. Hundreds of people, including Asa Berglund and her two daughters, set up chairs and enjoyed snacks waiting to catch a glimpse of the princess, TT reported. "The girls have cut and pasted large paper hearts in pink as they want to give Victoria a gift. Three-year Emma has thought about what she would say to Victoria," Berglund said. "Congratulations, I'll tell her," Emma Berglund said.
