Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad has vowed to sacrifice his life for the betterment of his country. Saad, who joined fellow Egyptians in protests against the now ousted president Mohammed Morsi on June 30, said he felt it was his duty to show solidarity with the demonstrators in ?Tahrir Square.? The singer told Arab Today: "I feel proud at standing up for my country in Tahrir Square and capturing it from the Muslim Brotherhood. I've have some health problems recently, but serving my country is the most important thing in my life. "When I saw the happiness on the faces of Egyptians, I felt much better than staying at home," he explained. Saad claimed that the Muslim Brotherhood had quashed freedoms, and on June 30 he felt there was an air of "liberation and independence" in Egypt.
