Egyptian star Elwy denies accident rumours

Egyptian superstar Laila Elwy has denied rumours she was recently involved in a car accident, dismissing reports as “completely unfounded.” “I haven’t had any accident,” she told Arabstoday in an exclusive interview. “I didn’t even leave my house on Tuesday evening, the day some websites claimed this happened.” Elwy even challenged the media, demanding they quote the other car’s registration number. Some media sources have also claimed the other driver in the accident insulted Elwy and tried to attack her on the roadside. The Egyptian actress has denied the entire story outright.
