Egyptian actor Hani Ramzi has defended the numerous sexual connotations in his latest film "Sami Carbon Dioxide." "They were included for humorous purposes and not for other reasons," said Hani. The connotations provoked laughter from the audience during a special screening of the film in Cairo. The film stars Tunisian actress Durraha (family name?), who plays the role of a revolutionary woman, as well as actors Edward (family name?), and talented, young actor Tatiana (family name?). During the special screening, Durraha was repeatedly congratulated on her engagement, rather than for her role in the film. She told reporters that she was thrilled to have acted alongside Hani, one of her favorite actors. "I make it a point to watch all of his movies," she said. Despite the attempts of many satellite channels to hold exclusive interviews with Hani, the Egyptian star held interviews with all journalists present. A number of Egyptian stars attended the special screening, like Hamada Hilal, May Kassab, Rasha Mahdi and director Ahmed al-Badri. The film is a comedy about Sami, who is consumed by having intimate relationships with multiple women.
