Egyptian star Hayatem told Arabstoday that she was puzzled by the satirical campaign recently launched under the slogan "Neither Marwa nor Hatem. We, the revolution, are with Hayatem". The campaign calls for Hayatem to run for the presidency. "I don't know why me in particular. I think there is somebody behind this campaign whose sole aim is just to irritate me" said Hayatem. Hayatem emphasised that she has not considered running for the presidency “not even for a moment" describing the campaign as "a silly joke". "Although I burst into laughter when I heard the news, I felt very upset later", added Hayatem.
