Rotana Productions President Salem Al Hindi denied rumours that Haifa Wehbe has split from Rotana, pointing out that the artist is ‘dear to his heart’ and that he respects her a great amount, but that what she has recently said about Rotana and its administration is far from the truth since he met with her several times with her husband’s presence, and agreed to release her album before summer with the supervision of Tony Samaan. He added that Haifa stopped attending their arranged meetings and stopped answering her phone, saying that he continuously called her and sent her txt messages to no avail; “what more can we do?” he asked. Al Hindi suggested that perhaps Haifa is ‘playing hard to get’ saying that “she can do that but she is the one who is not fulfilling her commitments, we are present and are still prepared to fulfil anything she asks of us as we hold a lot of love for her.” Regarding Wael Kfoury joining Rotana, Al Hindi said: “the most important points have been agreed on and God willing you will be hearing good news.” Additionally, he congratulated Kfoury on the birth of his child Michelle saying. As for those who have left Rotana Al Hindi said that it is due to an ‘attack’ by some artists on the company stating that “each person acts the way they were raised, and those who are good stay in Rotana,” even though Rotana’s administration try to please all parties.
