Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Mohamed Hejazi said on Thursday that the effective participation of the Egyptian delegation to the ITB Berlin will have a positive impact on the number of tourist coming to Egypt.
Egypt's distinguished participation in the world leading travel trade show is expected to give a new push to the industry, the ambassador said.
During the show held on March 4-8, Egypt won the best tourism destination award by the German tourism and travel makers club.
ITB Berlin is the world's largest tourism trade fair. The participating companies from about 189 countries included hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies.
