EgyptAir has brought 738 Egyptians back as they fled the war in Yemen.
They crossed the war-torn country's border into Oman and Saudi Arabia from where they were moved by the national carrier to Egypt, said Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal on Saturday.
Regular flights to Jeddah are enough to bring home other Egyptians returning from Yemen, Kamal added.
A Saudi-led coalition started last month an air operation against Houthi rebels to combat their advance to the south where President Abdrabo Mansour Hadi was running his government which moved to Aden after the rebels controlled the Capital Sanaa.
