Suez Governor el Arabi al Serwi said Sunday that the hotel occupancy rates in el Ain el Sokhna reached to 95 percent during Eid al-Fitr vacation.
The tourist turnout at Sokhna hotels and resorts registered high rates, Serwi said in statements Sunday.
El Ain el Sokhna is a resort town in Suez Governorate lying on the western shore of the Red Sea's Gulf of Suez. It is situated 55 km south of Suez and approximately 120 km east of Cairo.
Meanwhile, Serwi gave directions to the cleaning body in the city to remove trash from the streets and public parks along with Suez corniche in the morning and at night.
