Transportation Minister Hany Dahy said that trains will be operated for free on the occasion of the New Suez Canal inauguration.
The underground metro will be also for free from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
In statements on Friday, the minister underlined that this step comes to share citizens this historic event celebrated by all Egyptians.
The celebrations will begin starting Saturday till the inauguration ceremony on Thursday by broadcasting patriotic songs in stations, said the underground metro spokesman Ahmed Abdel Hady.
