Forty-five elements of Daesh terrorist group were killed in airstrikes launched by the US-led coalition on southern Kabisa city in Hit province, commander of the Iraqi Army's 7th Division, Major General Numan Abd al Zawbaei said on Friday.
Six vehicles belonging to the terrorist group were also destroyed in the sorties, Zawbaei told Alsumaria news channel.
Daesh terrorists were attempting to infiltrate into safe areas in Al Anbar province, he said, stressing that their plot has been thwarted.
