Arab League's assistant secretary general for Palestinian territories sector Saeed Abu Ali has said the UN Security Council's failure to issue an international resolution on Jerusalem because of the US veto will increase the isolation of the United States because it stood against the will of the member states and international community.
In statements Tuesday, he said the US veto is another violation of UN resolutions on the legal and historical status of occupied Jerusalem.
Abu Ali appreciated the stance of the countries that voted for Monday's draft resolution, saying all Israeli measures in the holy city are null and void.
