An explosion rocked an office of Save the Children in eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday, an official and witness said, in the latest attack in the war-torn country.
"I can confirm an explosion in front of Save the Children's compound in Jalalabad city," Nangarhar governor spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told AFP, adding one of the charity's vehicles was on fire.
A witness inside the compound confirmed the blast.
