UN judges will deliver a long-awaited verdict against former Bosnian Serb army chief Ratko Mladic, accused of war crimes and genocide during the Balkans conflicts, on November 22, the court announced Wednesday.
"The pronouncement of the judgement in this case shall take place on Wednesday November 22 at 10:00am," the presiding judge said in a statement.
Dubbed "the Butcher of the Balkans," Mladic has denied 11 charges of leading a ruthless campaign of ethnic cleansing to create a Greater Serbia in the 1990s wars, including genocide for his role in the killings in Srebrenica.
