Confrontations renewed on Wednesday between Palestinians and Israeli forces in a number of West Bank and Gaza Strip towns in protest against US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Acting upon a call by a number Palestinian factions, Palestinians took to the streets to protest the US decision, triggering off confrontations with Israeli forces.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse the protesters who were marching towards Qalandia checkpoint.
