France says it expects Hezbollah to give up arms and act as a political party that fully respects Lebanon's sovereignty.
Lebanon should stay away from tensions in the region, said the spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry Tuesday, believing this is important for its stability.
Paris is against Hezbollah's engagement in any war in Syria and thinks it is a hazardous matter, the spokesperson stressed.
The spokesperson said that her country is still communicating with all Lebanese parties and encouraging them to reach a consensus to better run state affairs.
