Houthi militants blocked 10 trucks laden with humanitarian aid from reaching intended recipients in Yemen's southwestern city of Taiz.
Sky News quoted security sources as saying Tuesday that Houthi militants stationed at a security checkpoint in Hays province in Hodeida, the fourth-largest city in Yemen, blocked the humanitarian aid that were donated by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The Houthis control most of Hodeida’s neighboring provinces, blocking supply routes and obstructing the delivery of urgently needed humanitarian assistance to the conflict-affected and internally displaced persons.
