The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) denied news reports fanned on social media pages that the Ministry of Awqaf has closed Quran memorization madrasas.
In a report issued on Thursday, the IDSC said that it contacted the Ministry of Awqaf which underlined that the reports are bare of truth, stressing that no Quran madrasas would be closed as long as they are accredited instead, the ministry is keen on organizing their affairs and working on expanding their existence across the nation to teach the holy Quran.
The ministry revealed that the "Quranic madrasa" project to be attached to major mosques and universities will be inaugurated .
