Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Saturday approved a reshuffle within his ministry, which involved senior positions, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Mahmoud Tawfiq was named as the minister's aide for national security, Tareq Attia as aide for the East Delta region, Mohamed Yousef as aide for the personnel sector, Hossam Nasr as aide for human rights sector and Fahmy Megahed as deputy head of the economic security sector, the ministry said.
Mahmoud Shaarawi was appointed the assistant minister for the crossings security sector, Gamal Sultan as the assistant minister for guard and security sector, Essam Saad as the assistant minister for Giza's security and Hisham el Iraqi as assistant minister for document sector.
Ibrahim Masri was appointed as the director of the security forces sector and Magdy Abul Kheir as the director of the training sector.
