Iraqi forces on Friday recaptured control over the border crossing between Iraq and Syria in al Qa'im town from Daesh terrorist group.
Head of al Qaim Council of Anbar Province Nazim Bardan announced the liberation of al Qa'im border crossing with Syria, Alsumaria news reported.
An Iraqi military source said earlier that units from the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service along with tribes have entered Gaza neighborhood in al Qa'im town in western Anbar after killing a number of Daesh militants and destroying their supplies.
