President Emmanuel Macron will meet with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri at noon on Saturday as he arrives in the midst of a major political crisis, the French leader's office said.
Hariri, who announced his shock resignation while on a visit to Saudi Arabia on November 4, was invited to Paris this week as France attempts to help broker a way out of the crisis.
Macron's office said Friday that the French president would welcome Hariri's family along with the Lebanese leader.
