Pope Tawadros healing after surgery in Germany

The Orthodox church said on Monday that Pope Tawadros of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark is healing after a back bone surgery he had undergone in Germany.
"He will be allowed by his doctors to leave the hospital to spend a recovery for around two weeks before returning back to Egypt," said a press release issued by the church.
The statement thanked the medical team for the successful surgery.
