The long-anticipated downward spiral of Daesh is nearing as the Syrian army claims more border victory with its advance towards Bukamal city near borders with Iraq.
After retaking Deir Ezzor, the last known command post for Daesh leadership, and the nearby city of Mayadeen, the Syrian army began its advance towards the border town of Bukamal.
According to Syrian activists, the Syrian army is now 30km away from Bukamal city.
