Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq end at records ahead of 3Q earnings

Wall Street stocks finished at fresh records Monday following strong economic data and in anticipation of another strong quarter of corporate earnings reports.
All three major indices ended at all-time highs, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumping 0.7 percent to 22,559.24 at the closing bell.
The broad-based S&P 500 rose 0.4 percent to 2,529.23, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index gained 0.3 percent to 6,516.17
