Japan's economy grew 1.0 percent in the second three months 2017, its sixth straight winning quarter and longest economic expansion in over a decade, government data showed Monday.
Robust domestic demand boosted gross domestic product, up from a 0.4 percent increase in the first quarter of 2017, the Cabinet Office said.
