Former economy minister Alexei Ulyukayev faced a decade in jail after a Moscow court on Friday ruled that he had taken a $2-million bribe from President Vladimir Putin's ally Igor Sechin.
"Ulyukayev is guilty of having taken a bribe as he carried out official duties," judge Larisa Semyonova said, with sentencing expected to follow.
