EU files fresh antitrust charges against Google

The European Union filed antitrust charges against Google's advertising business on Wednesday, cranking up the pressure on the US tech giant. EU Competition Commission Margrethe Vestager said Brussels had "raised concerns that Google has hindered competition by limiting the ability of its competitors to place search adverts on third-party websites". |
