Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo said Sunday he would never play as a center-forward.
Ronaldo insisted he has never played as a striker, and will never do so.
"I can assure you that I will never play center-forward. It is true that I am not the same player as ten years ago when I started playing at Sporting CP, even at Manchester United, where it was a pure goal and more that I bargained for, centered. But later I started to see football in a different way," the CR7 told A Bola.
"I thought well, I have the potential to be more than this, I have to play closer to the goal where I have more opportunities to score. At times I may look like a '9', but I am not," he added.
