Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa
Manama - Egypt Today

Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities, the International Conference for Assistive Technology will be organised in the Kingdom of Bahrain on December 3-4, under the slogan #Techno_No_Disability.

The conference comes within Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa initiatives and aims at supporting and sponsoring excellence in the categories of people with disabilities, the elderly and other special cases, and to promote their integration with the development of their homelands and remove all obstacles facing them.

The logo of the conference represents the involvement of technology in human life and its role in its development and improvement. It shows a human head looking forward with confidence and calmness with the help of seven electronic lines of different colours that represent health and innovation.

The green colour represents the concepts of creativity, health, healing and hope, while the yellow colour means energy, positivity and optimism. The orange colour represents innovation, success, delight and enthusiasm.

The purple colour is connected to the concepts of justice, wisdom and stability, while the navy blue colour is for success and security and the white colour is for peace and credibility. The circles drawn at the end of the lines refers to the connection of the duties of electronic panels and the human brain.

The Scientific Committee of the Conference continues studying the submitted researches, which crossed 100 studies presented by holders of PhD and Master’s degree holders from 18 different countries. The best 20 researches will be presented on a daily basis during the conference.
