His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, congratulated Shaikh Ali bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Volleyball Association and President of the Arab Volleyball Association, on the occasion of being elected by acclamation to the new tenure of presidency of Arab Volleyball Association that will continue until 2021.
His Highness stressed that the victory of Shaikh Ali bin Mohamed Al Khalifa is a clear indication of the Kingdom of Bahrain's distinguished status in the Arab, continental and international levels, and showcases the Kingdoms' capacity of having capable personnel occupying senior administration positions in various bodies and sports federations.
His Highness praised the great efforts exerted by Shaikh Ali Bin Mohamed to develop the game at local and Arab levels.
Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said: "We are proud of Shaikh Ali bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa for gaining the confidence of the Arab Volleyball Association members in the election.
This showcases the high level of Bahraini personnel in administrative work who have contributed to gaining this confidence, which reflects in supporting and strengthening Bahrain's athletic status at Arab and Asian and global levels."
His Highness extended his wishes for success to Shaikh Ali bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, and to continue developing the sport and strive to work on building cooperation bridges among members from the GCC states, in order to achieve the aspirations and goals of strengthening Arab volleyball.
