Syrian actress Sulaf Fawakhirji said in a recent interview that Syrian drama is fine and denied reports that she called to boycott Gulf money from financing Syrian drama. According to Sulaf, she is not good in politics and it would be stupid to attack Arab countries and call for blocking Gulf countries to finance Syrian drama. Sulaf recently finished shooting her upcoming movie “Hawi.” She plays the role of Amal, a nurse working in a hospital who suffers from the stigma of being a divorced woman. With a young son to raise, she slowly becomes corrupt and indulges in criminal activities.
