Al-Ahmadi is also getting ready to film The Hornets Nest in which he will play the starring role. In an interview with Arabstoday, he explained that it was his second collaboration with Yehia El-Fakharany. Describing their relationship he said “I am glad to work with Yehia El-Fakharany, as my last experience was very successful. I learned from him commitment, discipline and professionalism. I would also like to add that I am happy to work with the director Shady Yehia El-Fakharany. I expect he will revolutionise this genre. He is totally different from others working in the same field”. Regarding when the film is expected to wrap, he explained that they had only shot 30 or 40 percent of the scenes, the latest location being in London, but he believed they would finish before Ramadan. As for his other projects besides The Hornet’s Nest, Al-Ahmadi revealed: “There is a sitcom to work on, but we have not agreed on its name so far. The story revolves around a family who sells its land to buy an apartment; in each episode this family gets swindled while trying to buy the apartment.
