Jenna Elfman has signed a new talent deal with 20th Century Fox TV.
The 43-year-old actress will develop and star in a comedy or drama series, and is actively seeking a writer for the project. She and 20th Century Fox TV previously partnered on ABC sitcom Dharma and Greg and NBC comedy 1600 Penn.
"She is both a brilliant comedic leading lady and a stunning dramatic actress; she quite frankly can do everything," executive vice president of casting Sharon Klein lauded. "Audiences love her and so do we, as our relationship spans from Dharma all the way to 1600 Penn. We could not be more excited to be back in business developing something just for her."
Elfman most recently starred with J.K. Simmons on NBC comedy Growing Up Fisher. The series premiered in February, but was canceled after one season in June. The actress will next appear alongside Ashley Judd, Patrick Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg in Big Stone Gap.
