The Kingdom on Tuesday will remain under the impact of the heatwave that brought hot conditions across much of the country, with daytime temperatures hovering around 38 degrees Celsius in Amman and jumping to 42 degrees in Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), mercury levels will drop at night reaching 23 degrees in the capital and sliding to 29 in Aqaba.
Mercury levels are expected to drop few degrees over the next two days, creating relatively hot conditions in Amman, the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be hot in other parts of the country with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.
