Residents woke up to heavy rain on Sunday with more forecast across the country.
Rain was also reported in Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and the western region of Abu Dhabi despite sunny conditions in the city.
Partly cloudy skies are expected across the country with rain forecast along the coast and in the northern emirates.
