Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy in the morning, giving way to mainly sunny and relatively warm conditions in mountainous districts and warm conditions in other districts in the afternoon, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are set to rise and approach 6°C above the seasonal average. Partially cloudy to clear and warm conditions are expected for mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions for other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza.
Wednesday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear, relatively warm in mountainous districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley with a slight rise of temperatures which approach 7°C above the seasonal average.
PMD expects temperatures to drop and approach 4°C above the seasonal average on Thursday with partially cloudy to clear and pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm to warm conditions in other districts.
Friday’s weather is sunny and relatively warm in mountainous districts with patchy clouds and warm in other districts with a slight drop of temperatures.
PMD warns people against being directly exposed to sunlight for long period, especially during peak hours from 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM as well as of setting fire to dry grass.
