Weather on Friday is sunny and relatively warm to war in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts with a rise of temperatures which approach 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather becomes generally clear and pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza.
PMD expects temperatures to further rise and approach 5°C above the seasonal average on Saturday with relatively warm to warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts.
Sunday’s weather is abundantly sunny and warm in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures are set to rise and approach 7°C above the seasonal average with a slight chance of sporadic showers on some districts.
Temperatures are expected to significantly drop and get closer to the seasonal average on Monday. Partially cloudy to clear and pleasant conditions are expected for mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions for other districts with a slight chance of sporadic showers on some districts.
PMD warns people against being directly exposed to sunlight for long periods, especially during peak hours from 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM as well as against setting fires to dry grass.
