Au Jour Le Jour Garçon FW 14/15 Rome - Arab Today The Italian brand will get its first men's runway show at Pitti Uomo as part of the 'Firenze Hometown of Fashion' program. Designers Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez founded their men's and womenswear label Au Jour Le Jour in 2010. Now the 2011 Who's On Next finalists (the fashion competition organized by Vogue Italia and AltaRoma) are being hosted as part of the 'Firenze Hometown of Fashion' event at the Dogana in Florence. "We have been monitoring the development of the Au Jour Le Jour style and its growing international success for several seasons," explained Lapo Cianchi, Pitti Immagine Director of Communications and Events, "it is totally Italian but with a strong cosmopolitan flair." The pair had their runway debut for womenswear this February in Milan for Fall-Winter 2014 with a show at the Armani Theater as part of the legendary designer's program to support emerging talent. Au Jour Le Jour is one of two labels (alongside Marcelo Burlon County of Milan) picked for this season's Pitti Italics, a program which supports up-and-coming designers who design and manufacture in Italy. The brand's designs have been seen on musicians like Solange Knowles and fashionistas Anna dello Russo and Leandra Medine of Manrepeller. Stockists include Luisaviaroma and Harvey Nichols.
