George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler London - Arabstoday She might be a newcomer to the showbiz industry, but George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler seems to have adapted pretty quickly to being in the limelight. The former wrestler ensured all eyes were on her at the London premiere of her beau's new movie The Descendants by showing off her impressive figure in a revealing gold Maria Lucia Hohan gown. The 31-year-old blonde looked stunning in the dress, which highlighted her curves, as she posed on the red carpet for the screening, held as part of the BFI London Film Festival. Stacey teamed her full-length Grecian style gown with plaits wound around her head and diamond jewellery. The pair's relationship certainly seems to be going from strength to strength, with Stacy accompanying Clooney at his recent premieres for The Descendants and his other current movie The Ides Of March. Clooney only split from his former flame Elisabetta Canalis in August, following a two year romance. It is believed their relationship ended when the Dancing With The Stars contestant wanted to say 'I do' and have children. The split came as Clooney insisted that he would not walk down the aisle again following the end of his four-year marriage to actress Talia Balsam in 1993. He said previously: ‘I tried marriage and it didn’t work. I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time. ‘My fear is that I would make a lousy husband and I don’t want to put myself, or anyone else, through the pain of finding out. If I was my girlfriend, I wouldn’t put up with me for very long.’ Clooney and Stacy were at the premiere of his new movie The Descendants, which tells the tale of a man trying to reconnect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident and falls into a coma. Speaking earlier today, however, Clooney spoke of his plans to focus increasingly on directing, claiming it has become more difficult to find roles as he gets older. The heartthrob star, 50, said on-screen opportunities were drying up as he aged and he needed to look at other outlets. Clooney has won great acclaim for his directing career, including an Academy Award nomination for Good Night And Good Luck. Speaking today, he said: 'Hopefully, the trend is towards directing more because as we all know, the older you get, the less and less roles there are to play. And I want to be part of this business for a long time. 'I probably will soon. You get old, so you have to do other things.' Describing his latest film The Descendants as a 'coming-of-age story for a 50-year-old man', he said it was the director Alexander Payne and the script which drew him to the role. He said: 'I have learned after bad mistakes that I should read the screenplay first. When you first start off, you just take jobs like Batman & Robin and The Peacemaker. 'Now I try to focus on the best screenplays and make sure the directors are on the same page. Alexander is one of the best directors in the business, and he hasn't missed yet as a filmmaker.'
