William & Kate attend the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in LA London - Arwad Khalifeh Los Angeles California was the place to be on Saturday night, July 9th. The Hollywood elite were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the red carpet, who attended the BAFTA Brits in support of 42 up-and-coming young British talents. The couple received a warm welcome at the Belasco Theatre, as members of the Hollywood elite were excited at the prospect of meeting real-life royalty. William and Kate stole the spotlight from Hollywood A-listers, and were undoubtedly the fashion icons of the night. Kate, who has become a fashion icon in her own right over the past few years, picked an elegant lilac Alexander McQueen gown, teamed with a pair of glittery Jimmy Choo sandals featuring narrow stiletto heels, and a matching Jimmy Choo envelope clutch. To complete the look, Kate wore dazzling earrings borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, and looked absolutely stunning and graceful. William, who is President of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) was decked out in a debonair tuxedo, and looked very handsome and chic. Other celebrities attending the event included high-profile actors and directors such as Blake Lively, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks, Chris Evans among others.
