Swiss-based luxury watches and jewellery manufacturer Chopard has unveiled a new collection of Haute Joaillerie, inspired by the Disney Princesses, in partnership with Harrods and its Disney themed Christmas celebration. Caroline Scheufele, Artistic Director and Co-President of Chopard, has interpreted the key characteristics of Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana into ten unique pieces unveiled at the Chopard boutique at Harrods. This launch coincides with Harrods unique festive collaboration with Disney, the centrepiece of which is a set of window displays showcasing ten dresses created by designers including Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Elie Saab, each based on original Disney Princess dresses. Alongside the 'Haute Joaillerie' creations, Caroline Scheufele has collaborated with the shoe designer, Giuseppe Zanotti to create a pair of unique jewellery shoes in line with the Disney Princess theme. The shoes are to be auctioned for charity. The unique creations are being showcased exclusively at Harrods until the end of December in the Chopard boutique, part of Harrods Fine Jewellery Room. www.chopard.co.uk
