The American brand, under new creative director Stuart Vevers, has unveiled its first-ever men's footwear collection for Fall 2014.
Set to roll out in the brand's stores from September 1, the collection includes lace-up dress shoes, sneakers, monk-strap styles and lug-soled boots, while colors range across a classic menswear palette of cognac, black, mahogany, espresso and cordovan. Shoes and boots are made from Italian suede and leather, with US prices ranging from $175 for the 'Dave' low top up to $495 for the 'Harvey' model.
According to Coach, the shoe launch is the first step in the creation of a fuller men's lifestyle brand and a reflection of the value placed in the label's leatherworking heritage by the new creative director. Earlier this year at New York Fashion Week, Vevers also launched the brand's first collection of women's ready-to-wear, backed this summer with an Americana-tinged debut campaign featuring Lexi Boling and shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel. We can't wait to see what new menswear options might be in the pipeline.
