East London-based perfumer Angela Flanders has created a new fragrance called Aqua Alba, named after the Scottish spirit. The new scent was inspired by meetings between Dr Jim Beveridge, master blender of Johnnie Walker blended Scotch whiskies, and Angela, during which the pair discussed their shared appreciation of blending aromas and flavours to create their products. Aqua Alba contains earthy notes of labdanum and patchouli, as well as heart notes of heather, honeyed Gaiac wood and amber blended with agarwood. The new fragrance is available as a limited edition eau de toilette in handmade box, priced £95 for 100ml.
