The Lake Louise Ski Area extends ski season

Both Sunshine Village and The Lake Louise Ski Area broke snowfall records this past season as they saw some of the best snow in Western North America. Sunshine Village has seen 1035 cm's of total snowfall and Lake Louise saw 873cm's our famous dry light Canadian Rockies powder fall, and it's not over yet. Sunshine Village remains open until May 21st, boasting one of the longest seasons in North America. The Lake Louise Ski Area is extending their ski season by another weekend to celebrate the snowfall they have received this year shutting down for the season now on May 13th.
