Frasers Hospitality has continued the expansion of its Modena serviced apartment brand in China, with the launch of a new property in Wuhan.
The new Modena Zhuankou Wuhan is located in the centre of the capital of Hubei province and features 172 apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, all including kitchens, work space, living areas, home entertainment systems and free Wi-Fi.
The property also offers a 24-hour fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, games room, meeting space, laundry facilities and a cafe and bar.
“Establishing a presence in China’s fastest growing province will enable us to further strengthen our foothold in China as demand for our serviced residences remains strong in key cities as well as high-growth second and third-tier cities,” said Frasers’ CEO, Choe Peng Sum.
“China will continue to be pivotal in our growth as we work towards doubling our global inventory to 30,000 serviced apartments over the next five years,” he added.
Modena Zhuankou Wuhan becomes Frasers’ fifth Modena-branded serviced residence in China, following existing properties in Tianjin, Shanghai, Suzhou and Wuxi. And the company is planning to add four more Modenas in China over the next two years.
Launched in 2009, Modena is designed specifically for business travellers.
