Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi recently unveiled the first phase of its renovation project. The renovation was across the hotel lobby which is now revamped into the Le Méridien Hub™. The other revamped outlets include Café Palmier, the all day dining restaurant and Wheat, a trendy bakery and Bistro for casual dining. Wheat offers guests healthy dining options across breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a ‘take away’ option. Café Palmier and Wheat offers Al Fresco dining options during the cooler months with extendeddeck areas and terraces respectively. The Hub at Le Royal Méridien showcase floor to ceiling book shelves, two giant statues shaped like two humans conversing with each other and a curated collection of contemporary art installations. The extensive renovation of Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi also includes a complete redesign of all deluxe rooms and suites. As part of phase one, the hotel will also add Le Royal Club Lounge. Phase two of the re-development is scheduled to be launched in Q1 2014 will see the launch of Stratos, the only revolving Lounge Bar and Grill, re-launch of Amalfi, the Italian restaurant, Launch of Market Kitchen, an international dining concept inspired by LM100 Member, Jean Georges Vongerichten and the signature bar Latitude 24.
