Markette, the heart-warming concept serving delicious home cooked, comfort food, is ringing in December with a pair of new seasonal menus; “Galette & Crepe Festival” celebrates hero dishes from the menu from December 9th-19th2015. That is followed by a “Holiday Menu” from December 22ndto January 2nd2016.
The Festival menu throws the spotlight on a scrumptious Baked Apple and Cinnamon crepe, a mouth-watering concoction topped with yoghurt cream cheese, cranberry and nuts. On the savoury front, the Strip Loin Steak Galette is an inspiration for meat lovers with premium veal accompanied by caramelized onion, mushroom and cherry tomato.
Every galette is hand crafted with buckwheat flour, natural ingredients, and seasoned with a dash of love. All galettes and crepes are made to order right in front of customers in the island kitchen for the ultimate freshness.
“Galettes are already a signature dish much appreciated by Markette’s customers. Our new Galette & Crepe Festival menu celebrates everyone’s favorite dishes with a new taste limited for one week only,” says Paul Richard – Head Chef at Markette.
Markette then gets into the spirit of the season with a themed Holiday menu from December 22ndto January 2nd2015. A turkey roulade served with cranberry sauce, accompanied by a Mexican risotto, is a main course highlight. Dessert involves a beautiful red velvet creation with yoghurt cream cheese frosting and caramelized mixed nuts.
“Markette is a family affair. It’s like visiting a friend’s kitchen. It’s only fitting that we get friends and family to come around and partake in the holiday spirit with a delicious seasonal menu. We want to bring people together and create a homely environment,” Paul Richard, Head Chef.
The new menus are available at Markette, located in The Dubai Mall and BOXPARK locations.
